The Man,The Goat, The Grass and The Leopard

The Man, the Goat, the Grass and the Leopard

Once upon a time, there was a man named Aman who wanted to cross a river. He had three things with him: a goat, a bundle of grass and a leopard.

Unfortunately, his canoe was very small. It could only carry Aman and one of the three things at a time.

Aman faced a serious challenge. He knew that if he left the goat alone with the grass, the goat would eat it. If he left the leopard alone with the goat, the leopard would kill and eat the goat.

He sat down and thought carefully about how he could get everything safely across the river.

After thinking for a while, he came up with a plan.

  1. First, Aman carried the goat across the river and left it on the other side.
  2. He returned alone and picked up the grass.
  3. When he reached the other side, he left the grass there and brought the goat back with him.
  4. He then left the goat on the original side and carried the leopard across the river.
  5. He left the leopard with the grass, which was safe because the leopard does not eat grass.
  6. Aman returned alone and collected the goat.
  7. Finally, he carried the goat across the river.

At last, Aman successfully crossed the river with all three things safely.

Moral of the Story:

Wisdom, patience and careful planning help us overcome difficult challenges. Sometimes, success does not depend on strength but on thinking critically and making the right decisions.
